![]() It asked me to restart but I was honestly tired of everything because it took hours to diagnose so I ended up not restarting my PC and instead launched MSI Control Center and scanned for updates on there. Then uninstall the "Realtek USB Audio" program from Apps and Programs if you have it. (DO NOT SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES IN DEVICE MANAGER OR RESTART YOUR PC) ![]() Now uninstall the USB Composite device and continue to the next step. What worked for me was to first complete an SFC System Scan and then uninstall the USB Composite (find out the device ID for "Realtek USB 2.0" in device manager under "Sound, video, and game controllers" and then click through all the "USB Composite Device" in "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" until you find them). I was struggling hard with installing the proper Realtek HD Audio Drivers on my MSI Z790 Carbon Wifi and the only thing that got the drivers to properly install and work as they should was uninstalling the "USB Composite" device started off the exact same as the device ID for "Realtek USB 2.0 Audio".ġ- Realtek USB 2.0: Device USB\VID_0DB0&PID_6C09&MI_00\6&355e8ceb&2&0000Ģ- USB Composite: Device USB\VID_0DB0&PID_6C09\5&15f63d13&0&13 ![]()
